Crivello is a monthly newsletter by Cassandra Marsillo that explores the history, traditions, and folklore of Molise, the southern Italian region of her ancestors. Cassandra is a third-generation Italian-Canadian who approaches these musings through autobiographical reflections, food, collective memory, and her training as an oral and public historian.

Along with the monthly text, each subscription will include a detailed bibliography, resources for further learning (both academic and non-academic), and a tarot pull reflecting on the research and folklore discussed in the newsletter.

The Crivello archives will be available here.

Published the third Friday of every month. Every Sunday, a shorter and more casual post will cover stories gathered from her research and experiences.
